History of the Blackstone Training Academy

Blackstone Training Academy is a private postsecondary institution founded in 2021 in Virginia to provide students higher education and practical training in intelligence and counterintelligence studies. 

Vision

The vision of the Blackstone Training Academy is to offer a distinctive, quality academic experience in partnership with the needs of intelligence agencies and private organizations. 

Mission and Values 

Blackstone Training Academy seeks to provide students an exceptional specialized educational opportunity to prepare them for national security careers, and to deliver highly professional, practical, and relevant training for career progression and self-enrichment. Blackstone Training Academy’s Department of Strategic Intelligence offers Counterintelligence Studies, a unique academic experience, combining formal education with practical training and experiences. 

Purpose

Our goals focus on knowledge and skills for real life application. Blackstone Training Academy provides a career-oriented educational experience that can be directly applied to those working in national security and related fields in private industry. 

Certificate Programs and Courses

Students can attend individual courses or pursue certificate programs for more advanced instruction in a concentrated area, gaining professional recognition in the intelligence community. All courses may be taken for grade or audit, although students may not apply audit courses to the certificate programs.

Certificate-seeking students may select from one of several counterintelligence certificate tracts. 

Government & Corporate

Courses vary in duration with flexible schedules that can be adapted for corporate and government needs. Courses can be taken individually or combined to build longer courses in one topic area. Courses may be online, in residence, or as mobile training team courses (MTTs), where quality instruction is brought to your organization.

Certification

Blackstone Training Academy has been certified to operate in the State of Virginia by the State Council on Higher Education for Virginia.

Our course material was created by multiple instructors, most holding advanced degrees, and has been validated by subject matter experts with decades of real-world experience. 

Faculty-Student Interaction

Students will be provided access to our Learning Management System where information on the course will be provided by faculty, which allows students and faculty to view and interact on course material, assignments, counseling, and other issues.
